Infracontrol Online is currently being used in a number of applications such as the Swedish Road Administration, the Swedish Board of Civil Aviation, the Norwegian public transport provider Oslo Sporveier and a number of Swedish cities including Göteborg and Malmö.

Our Web-based service, which is part of Infracontrol Online, was launched in 2003 and has been online 24/7 ever since. At present, we have around 75,000 connections to the system from which everything from complex traffic control systems to simple temperature sensors are controlled and monitored. Functions

Collection of operations-related alarms
Operations-related alarms from connected systems are collected through fixed or mobile communication channels and are stored in a database. Maintenance staff, the owner of the facility or customer service has access to information that is constantly updated and accurate, relating to all of the facilities, regardless of their manufacturer or function.

Reporting problems
A simple guide makes it easy for e.g. customer service to register reported problems so that they are logged and forwarded to the right person. An automatic function checks to see if the same problem has been reported previously.

Logging, distributing and monitoring operations-related alarms
All operations-related alarms are logged and forwarded to the person responsible via text messages or the Internet. The way in which all alarms are handled is monitored to ensure that no information is overlooked or lost.

Manual and automatic control
When an operations-related alarm has been received or a problem has been reported to the person responsible for taking action, this is reported to the system, which makes it possible to issue a report when the problem has been dealt with. This means that everyone has updated information about what is happening at all of the various facilities.

Alarms and operating statistics
The system contains advanced yet easy-to-use functions for compiling and analyzing operating statistics. This information can be exported to e.g., Excel for additional processing.

All communication in the system is monitored to make certain that operations-related alarms, control signals and reports reach their intended recipients. If anything is overlooked, information is quickly generated to point this out.
